Viewpoints
The trail has several amazing viewpoints! The trail begins as a gravel road but later on enters a narrow trail that goes through a few wooden bridges that beautifully blends in with the scenery.

Although the narrow path transitions into a gravel road for the final few hundred meters, the walk remains scenic. Along the way, you will pass small chapels, eventually reaching the artificial lake (Kato Mylos Reservoir) at the trail’s end, which is visible from a distance as you approach.

Personal comments
The Alonatzia nature trail offers a diverse walking experience, blending accessible gravel roads at the start and finish with a fantastic narrow path through the heart of the route. While the middle section provides an intimate forest feel, the final stretch opens up to offer sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.
A true highlight of the journey is the discovery of two serene landmarks: the Saint Paraskevi Chapel and the Archangel Michael Chapel. Both sites serve as perfect vantage points, offering panoramic views of the rolling hills, the dam, and the nearby picnic area tucked into the valley below.
The trail is totally recommended as it is very short and doable from everyone.
